Interior renovation and design for an American Apparel retail store on 7th Ave in New York City’s historical fur district. Previously three separate businesses, these spaces were combined to create the largest American Apparel store in NYC. Design highlights were the new staircase, wood retail platform at the base of the staircase, brightly painted air ducts and a minimal finish palette to allow merchandise to pop.

Exterior wayfinding design for a campus of affordable maker studios, creative office space, test kitchens, and workshops in Austin, TX.

Interpretive experiential design for The San Francisco Zoo’s Lipman Family Lemur Forest, the largest outdoor lemur habitat in the US. Graphic panels tell the story of the plight of the lemurs in Madagascar through the ‘voices’ of biologists and conservation organizations. An interactive globe shows where you are in relation to the lemurs’ native habitat. Charred wood provides the framework for lessons about farmers’ slash and burn practices encroaching on the lemurs’ habitat. An interactive browse feeder is an exciting timed event that lets you crank food down to the lemurs. The habitat boardwalk culminates in a writing station to record what you’ve learned as well as ask more questions and a donation station where you can donate directly to the Madagascar Fauna Group to help save the lemurs.

Digital and print design for Tiësto, voted “The greatest DJ of all time” by Mixmag. Worked with Heineken and Tiësto’s team to design web banners, social media assets and print pieces for Tiësto’s US Tour.

Concept design and strategy for O2’s Connectivity Shops that provides a holistic approach to the customer experience. Customers meet with friendly, knowledgeable gurus who walk them through complete connectivity solutions.

Building renovation from a former convent into permanent housing for the formerly homeless. This historic building comprises 29 single occupancy units, a common chapel and refectory rooms that were designed to retain their character as gathering spaces for the new residents.

Graphic design for the City of Brenham wayfinding kiosks to help visitors find museums, dining and entertainment, lodging, shops and business services in the city center.

3D event design for IBM Developer at DevNexus. Design included a robot activation area, a lightning talks/mini theater and an area for hands on quick labs.

3D event design for IBM iX at In Situ, SFMOMA. Installations include a reflective branded light sculpture, a freestanding poster mobile and a window display sculpture with programmable lights.

Dr. Victoria Shackelford is a doctor of depth psychotherapy with a counseling practice in Austin, TX. I worked with Dr. Shackelford to design a new logo (inspired by mandala psychology), a new website (developed in SquareSpace) and created branding across all social media platforms for her growing practice.

After 10 years of working as Music Supervisor for the Discovery Channel, Sucheta Sachdev needed a website to launch Sonatina Audio which provides full service music supervision across all media platforms. I worked with Sucheta to create a simple design inspired by rhythmic movement in water.
